The Olympic venue was built to meet the needs of a small village built on a 400.000m² plat of land in Aghios Andreas, Attica, to house approximately 3000 journalists during the Athens Olympics. The project includes the full construction of main and secondary buildings to house infrastructures (electric supply, water supply, rainwater drainage, sewerage, voice and data networks, cable TV networks, external lightning, watering, etc.), landscaping and planting of the surrounding area, as well as fully construction of a three (3) new waste treatment (biological treatment) units, six (6) autonomous new buildings to house medium voltage substations and four (4) new buildings for voice data center installation (2003 – 2004).
