The Maximos Mansion was built in 1924 by architect Anastasios Helmis to serve as the residence of D.Maximos economist and politician, who served as the country’s Prime Minister in 1947. From 1982 onwards the Maximos Mansion is used as the resident of the Prime Minister, retaining the name of its first owner.
Our Company undertook extensive repair and modernization works on the building, which were completed in five phases from 1991 to 2007. The main full restoration phase took place in 1998. More specifically, the works performed in its interior regarded the full conversion of all basement spaces into useful spaces, the full replacement of the heating – air conditioning networks and units, the creation of state-of-the-art facilities for food preparation, new office bathrooms, etc.
The works performed on the exterior included the restoration of all marble elements of the facades and parapets, the replacement of door and window frames, new insulation for rooms, central entrance flooring, building painting and surrounding area landscaping.
